Homeschooling-pros and cons?
I started my son in homeschooling-a private teacher does it. I have noticed a big difference in his grades and attitude! What is the pros and cons some of you have encountered-even after graduation? Thanks Well, he is in 11th grade so he has friends at his old school and they still com over, plus he has a band. He also has a GF. He isnt suffering much as far as that is concerned. MomX...I havent regretted the decision yet! It is the best thing I have done for my son!

No one can give cons, so have at mine and tell me what you think. do my cons outweigh your pros? DO you agree with me, and outoaf respect and intellect, read my list. 1. quality education. Parents can only teach their children what they know and their opinions can have emtpy proof. When teaching and going over politics, religious courses, laws, and scientific devolopment in forms of theories such as evolution, development, and growth. Also, you can only teach what you know, and based on not only I.Q. level, but average american realization of media flaws and general stupidity, not everyone is smart. Parents aren't trained to teach, point black. 2.the kid taught doesn't see ppl form different walks of life and are overly sheltered, not allowed by mommy to to see what happens in life or to make their own decisions. in class we can debate:00 3. colleges like public or privately schooled children better. you can argue, but it is true. Excuse my error of being revolted by previous answers and making my way onto the site to type this at 3 a.m.- also considering the fact that I received only 5 and a half hours of sleep since friday. Edit errors could only be assumed. And as for answers: 1. Text books will not solve everything. Some schools have amazing text books that reconcilliate for flawed teachers- does that refur to flawed parenting on the refrence of homeschooling? According to the info. provided, yes. And, it shows throught each natural disaster, election, and desicions made publically that americans aren't well informed. If you teach children to be as well as informed as parents the next generation won't learn from their own misteaks, and as advised, history does repeat itself. Kids are proven to not be as innovative while in a "parent ruling" enviornement because you are more likely to want to please a parent rather than a teacher. Kids lack respect of teachers these days. 2. Your kids will meet
